Quran teachings explain that Salat is the main pillar of Islam. It is obligatory to all the Muslims that they pray five times a day. A prayer is a practice that helps a Muslim to stay on the right path and not get deviated. In Quran it is called the best way. As said by Allah in surah e bakara:

Observe the regular prayers and the prayer in the best way; and stand before Allah as devout people. (Al-Baqarah 2:238)
Salat is the main pillar of Islam that distinguishes between believers and non-believers. This obligation is offered five times a day. As a person prays he unfolds the pages and purifies himself. The remuneration of the practice of Salat is non other then peace in this world and jannat. Therefore it is called the key of jannat by the holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). In this world peace is earned by the communication of GOD and mankind. This can be better explained by the sayings of Hazrat Ali:

When I want to talk to God, I pray (salat); and when I want God to talk to me, I study Quran”
Hazrat Ali (RA)

There are two parts of this saying about communication with Allah. The first is prayer and the second is praying and the second is Quran reading. Online Quran has facilitated the believers to read it in all the parts of the world.

This obligation is the necessity of the spiritual well being of the of a believer; because of the reason that man gets close to Allah not only in any one part of the week but he gates close to Allah five times a day. The communication with Allah becomes stronger when we pray and it opens the doors of heaven for the believer.

Allah says in Quran:
Perform the regular prayer in the period from the time the sun is past its zenith till the darkness of the night, and recite the Qur’an at dawn – dawn recitation is always witnessed – and during the nigh wake up and pray as an extra offering of your own, so that your Lord may raise you to a highly praised status. Say, ‘My Lord, make me go in truthfully and come out truthfully, and grant me supporting authority from You.
(Al-Isra’ 17:78-80)

Perform the regular prayer at both ends of the day, and during parts of the night, for good things drive bad away – this is a reminder for those who are aware. (Hud 11:114)
If one does not pray the key is lost and so are the doors of heaven and peace closed on him. Muslims all over the world join online Islamic schools to make this pillar strong.
