Room decoration is an art that is directly related to the budget. Rooms for teenagers can be relatively difficult to design in low budget but not impossible. Room decoration needs some research to discover divergent ideas on the internet, books pertaining to home decorating techniques and some television shows about designing particular spaces in the home.

The teenager’s room in an above picture is a beautiful depiction of low budget decoration. Instead of bed, mattress is placed on the wooden floor with folding stoles on each sides of mattress. Similarly instead of couch or chair square bean bag is used and to create more sitting place area rug is laid on the floor. Turning to the color scheme which is full of life and energy and is selected by keeping in mind the fact that for whom the room is being decorated?

The bed sheet is of off white color along with two pillows whilst overlay is the combination of Persian red, coral and orange color. Rufous color of bean bag is in match with the color of lamp and wooden rack while the sea green and blue colors of stools are matching with the colors of rug. And windows are covered with the floral and plain curtains.

As far as the mattress selection is concerned the memory foam mattress is the only choice but as the room is designed on a budget so memory foam topper would be more appropriate because it saves the cost of buying the new mattress as it fits on the top of an existing mattress.
